ILE PTO

We are so appreciative of all of our parents who provide financial support as well as volunteer their time to ensure the presence of both basic necessities and an enriched learning environment at Indian Lake Elementary.

Since 1989, ILE PTO has provided a computer lab so that our students may learn fundamental skills necessary to succeed in a high tech world.  The PTO funds all aspects of the lab including the computers and related equipment, software, the instructor, and the student work journals. 

The PTO funds the lease of the copier, copier paper and toner for the school, since this expense (approximately $16,500) is not covered by the county.

Each year the PTO funds enrichment programs for our children, such as science presentations and theatrical performances, to enhance their learning.   For instance last year The Traveling “Zoo on the Move,” Magician Bruce Amato, and a visit from Sir Isaac Newton were just some of the programs provided by the PTO.
